Shirley Community Trust is for everyone in Shirley, providing spaces to connect, contribute, have fun and belong. People can meet at our Community Centres or our Community Garden, and join in with a wide range of activities … or just sit and chat with others.

For over 20 years the Trust has aimed to support all who work, live and play in Shirley, together growing community.  We are privileged to be a part of this wonderful journey.

Tomorrow is Canterbury Anniversary Day (Show Day) so there will be no Community Café 🙅 The Neighbourhood Centre will be open Monday as normal and it will be great to see you there! 🥰

Need some financial guidance and advice? 💵 There is a Drop-In Clinic at the Shirley Library next week where you can chat with some experts 😊

The Neighbourhood Centre will be a hive of activity tomorrow 🐝Barista trainees will be making drinks, people will be collecting their Fruit & Vege bags and there will be Shirley locals catching up for a chat ⚡You're welcome to come and join the action!

Do you hear people using Te Reo Māori in everyday conversation but you're not sure what they're saying? 🙃 Come along to the free class tomorrow evening and engage with the language 👨‍🏫

"It is more blessed to give than to receive" 🥰 Using your knitting skills to create items for charity, not only blesses those who receive the items, but you will feel a sense of purpose and achievement, and hopefully joy, as you contribute to blessing others 🧶
