Shirley Community Trust is for everyone in Shirley, providing spaces to connect, contribute, have fun and belong. People can meet at our Community Centres or our Community Garden, and join in with a wide range of activities … or just sit and chat with others.

For over 20 years the Trust has aimed to support all who work, live and play in Shirley, together growing community.  We are privileged to be a part of this wonderful journey.

Some past and present barista trainees had a great visit to the Vivace Roastery on Tuesday, where Cameron, the head roaster, shared his knowledge and passion for coffee roasting 🫘☕️🫘 Thanks for having them Vivace Espresso 🤗

Today's tasty Fruit & Vege bag contents 🥔🍌🥦🥝🍎

The Neighbourhood Centre will be a hotbed of activity tomorrow 🏃‍➡️🏃‍♀️‍➡️ There will be people in and out collecting and ordering their Fruit & Vege bags, enjoying barista drinks, browsing the Book Nook & chatting with each other 🛍️☕️📚🗣️ Come and get amongst it 😎

Knitting needles will be in action tomorrow at the Knit and Knatter group 🧶 They'll be in the MacFarlane Park Community Centre from 10am tomorrow and you would be welcome to join them 😁

Looking for a simple way to connect and get support for your tamariki? 🌱 Our Shirley Community Drop-Ins are a relaxed space where whānau can: ~ Ask questions ~ Get practical ideas ~ Connect with local support No booking needed – just come along when it suits you during the session. 📍 Macfarlane Park Centre (around the back of the café and kindergarten), 19 Acheson Avenue, Christchurch 🕘 Between 9am and 12pm, Thursday 14th June Cost: Free Pop in and say hi – we’d love to see you there 👋

The Neighbourhood Centre is open tomorrow from 10am and you can purchase a $2 barista made drink, get tech support and practise your English 😍 Sounds like a well used Community Centre 👏
